Chess Champs of Cambridge International School, Jalandhar have stunned everyone with their master moves and clinched titles in District Chess Tournament-2019 held at CT World School, Jalandhar on 11th and 12th of May,2019.
It is a matter of great pride for the school as Dushyant Sharma won the 1st position while Namitbir stood 2nd in U-25 boys event.JayanPasricha clinched the third position in U-17 boys and Ananya Arora stood second in U-9 girls.
In addition to this Mishthi Jairath made her mark in Jalandhar Open TT Championship by securing 3rd position in U-12 girls category.
Briyanshi Thakur has won the championship for the second time consecutively. She has brought laurels to the school by winning Gold medal at CBSE North Zone-II Roller Skating Championship in 300 metres Rink Race-4 with the timings of 36.09 seconds. Another feather was added to the cap as she also clinched silver medal in Rink Race-5 in 500 metres. She has showcased her talent in her field and has set a new benchmark for the rest of the competitors.
