Young and prodigious, Gurnavjeet Singh Bhatia, a student of grade VII of Cambridge International School, Jalandhar is emerging as a star on Indian golfing horizon owing to his persistent and focused efforts. He has been selected to represent India for World Golf Championship, Pinehurst, USA. The selection was based on his stupendous performance in the National Squad of Indian Golf Union. Gurnavjeet made his presence felt on those hallowed greens, representing India for Boys Category (Under 12) and owing to his stellar performance he has been selected to play World Van Horn Cup, the prestigious Cup for Boys category (Under 12) where 10 international players will play against top 10 US players. He outshined amongst all the international golfers from USA and was felicitated with a golf bag by the President of World Champions Golf Union.
