Celebrating, Connecting and Caring for Mother Earth

The three day long Earth Day celebration culminated filling every heart with appreciation towards the uniqueness of our planet and sensitizing the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at grass root level.

On the final day, the tiny tots of Grade II gave a creative touch to their pledge for going green by making artistic bookmarks while the young Plogging Brigade of students of Grade III and IV whisked around the corridors and class rooms enthusing in all the students the need for clean and healthy surroundings.

Students of Grade V enthusiastically participated in making ‘Go Green Walls’ which they adorned with thoughtful and inspiring messages. The classes were abuzz with activity and the Go Green walls became vibrant eye catchers for everyone.

Grade VI students were engrossed in making beautiful and thought provoking doodles showing their care and concern about global healing and environmental issues.Students of grade VII and VIII were zealously involved in slogan writing churning out mind-bending and stimulating slogans on art sheets and T-Shirts.

Senior students of Grade IX and X engaged themselves in a tree plantation drive, emphasizing the importance of planting saplings to restore the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

We believe that the extensive activities organised will go a long way in ensuring that every student is an environmental and climate literate citizen, ready to take action and be a voice for change.
