Cambridge International School , Co-Ed , Jalandhar celebrated Republic Day on 25th January,2023 to salute the legacy of the nation’s martyrs and freedom fighters.
The entire school was wrapped up in the colors of Freedom .The celebration began with the unfurling of The National Flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the NCC Cadets and students of Four Houses March Past instilling team spirit, discipline and coordination among young students. Students from various sections of Grade VI-VIII exhibited the cultures and showcased their talent in the form of songs , dances and culture of a particular state displaying the diversity and richness of the culture of India.
The celebration came to an end when Saanchit Kapoor of Grade VIII was honoured with “Cambridge Braveheart Award” for saving the life of his friend.
Our honourable President Ms. Pooja Bhatia congratulated everyone on this occasion. In her address to the students, she motivated one and all to respect the heterogeneity that our country so proudly beholds.They were also encouraged to preserve its varied national heritage and assume a sense of social responsibility.
Our Principal Ms. Harleen Mohanty, highlighted the importance of the constitution and opined that we as Indians are fortunate to have one of the largest constitutions of the world.
The Vice Principal, Headmistress and the Coordinators were also present to appreciate the hardwork put in by the students and teachers.
